Dr. Ayati, well known nationally and internationally in the field of geriatric medicine, is a physician, speaker, author, and an educator. Dr. Ayati is the medical advisor to the United States Senate Special Committee on Aging providing medical advice on Aging and Challenges Faced by the Aging Population in the US. Dr. Ayati is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine where he teaches Geriatric and Internal Medicine. Dr. Ayati joined Stanford University School of Medicine in 2011 as faculty where he taught and practiced Internal Medicine and Geriatrics at Stanford Internal Medicine Clinic, Stanford Senior Care Clinic, Stanford Concierge Medicine and Stanford Executive Medicine. Doctor Ayati is a member of the Ethnogeriatrics Committee of the American Geriatrics Society and serves as a Faculty Advisor for the Center On Longevity at Stanford University. Dr. Ayati is a member of the Health Care Advisory Committee of Northern California and Nevada Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and is the Geriatric Consultant on Aging Research Projects at SRI (Stanford Research Institute) International.
Dr. Ayati has served and is currently serving as the Medical Director and Medical Advisor of multiple skilled nursing facilities, assisted living and memory care facilities in the San Francisco Bay Area in California (such as Los Altos Subacute Care, Grant Cuesta Sub-Acute and Rehabilitation Center, Palo Alto Sub-Acute, Sunnyvale Post-Acute Center, Laboure, ManorCare Skilled Nursing facility, Forum, and Kensington). He has worked as a Hospitalist at Lodi Memorial Hospital in Lodi, California, and as an Emergency Medicine Attending at Veteran Affairs in Palo Alto, California. Dr. Ayati is the Editor in Chief of the journal of General Medicine, Open Access. Dr. Ayati is the co-author of “Paths to Healthy Aging”. Dr. Ayati is the Founder of Bay Area Senior Care Society. Dr. Ayati is also a guest educational speaker on several radio stations such as National Public Radio (NPR) and San Francisco’s KQED and international and national conferences. Dr. Ayati is a Board Director at The Forum Senior Living. Dr. Ayati’s main areas of research and clinical focus are in the physiology of aging and on finding practical and yet innovative ways of addressing the wellbeing and needs of the population in any age category. Dr. Ayati is an advocate of his patient’s physical and mental health in addition to disease management and prevention. Dr. Ayati's goal is to provide reliable information, effective strategies, and simple guidelines for patients of all ages to avoid or manage chronic diseases and to have a significantly better quality of life. |

She has extensive scientific, technical and market knowledge in life sciences (biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry) and health care (hospitals, medical, and health care) fields.
Dr. Azarani has comprehensive experience in business development, tactical/strategic marketing, R&D, product development, applications development, technology evaluation & scouting, strategic partnership, licensing, M&A, patent review, intellectual property, international sales, and health care innovations and management. Dr. Azarani has many years of experience in building different departments and high performance cross-functional teams in multi-site operations. She has extensive experience in identifying and prioritizing resources necessary to execute plans, track performance and make reallocation decisions to maintain or improve the productivity of all departments and return on activities. She has driven innovation and revenue growth by diversifying product portfolio and developing many new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, co-marketing, licensing, OEMs, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Many of the companies she has worked for have sold for millions of dollars. Dr. Azarani’s specific areas of life sciences expertise are in the fields of physiology, biology, molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, genetics and proteomics. She has extensive experience in the areas of high-throughput automation technology/instrumentation, consumables (plastic and reagents), microfluidics, software & databases, assay development & miniaturization, genetic mapping/expression/analysis, sequencing, next generation sequencing technology, immunohistochemistry, protein chemistry/trafficking/sorting/analysis, crystallography, metalloproteases biochemistry, membrane biology, receptors, microarray production and technology, hormone regulation, drug discovery, and pharmacology . |

Ms. Kimya Peyvan is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. During her time at UCLA, she worked extensively across several Skilled Nursing Facilities in the Los Angeles area and contributed to a number of clinical studies in the fields of neuroscience and ophthalmology.
In addition to her academic achievements, Kimya holds a deep commitment to community service and healthcare initiatives through her active involvement with several nonprofit organizations. Notably, she has served on the board of the Saving Hearts Foundation, where she has utilized her expertise in grant writing, financial management, and corporate partnership. |
