WE PROVIDE FUNDING IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS
Our mission at Geriatrics Foundation is to provide the necessary funding in many areas of geriatric care, health, research, and education to provide a brighter and healthier future for the aging population.
GERIATRIC CARE
- We fund geriatric care by funding facilities, nonprofit, and organizations providing caregivers, care managers, translators, food, transportation, emotional and physical support to underserved seniors.
GERIATRIC HEALTH
- We fund geriatric medical care by funding medical facilities, hospitals, doctors offices, nursing homes, assisted livings, and memory cares who take care of underserved and poor elderly population who lack health insurance or the financial capability to receive crucial and life-saving medical care.
- We fund professional nurses who provide nursing and medical care to seniors lacking financial capacity and insurance.
- We fund medical supplies and equipment (wheelchair, canes, medical alert devices, hearing aids, prescription glasses, etc.) to underserved and poor elderly population.
- We fund medications costs for all seniors lacking insurance or the financial capabilities to pay for their life-saving medication.
GERIATRIC EDUCATION
- We fund geriatric educational presentations for all topics in the geriatric fields.
- We fund creation of informational and educational pamphlets in all languages in the field of geriatrics.
- We fund certified individuals or institutions willing to educate and help the elderly with electronic gadget, their finances, insurances, banking, book keeping, bill payments, and accounting needs.
- We fund geriatric education for all interns, students, undergrads, fellows, physicians, nurses, care providers and caregivers who seek training in all geriatric fields.
GERIATRIC RESEARCH
- We fund students, interns, undergrads, grads, fellows, researchers, and physicians conducting vital research in the field of geriatrics.
